1. Olive oil:

Method 1: (Olive Oil Hair Pack)

Ingredients:

  • Olive oil – enough to apply to your hair
  • Cinnamon powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Honey – 1 to 3 teaspoons
  • Mild shampoo
  • Microwave safe bowl or pan

Process:

  • Warm olive oil either by microwave or stove
  • Add honey and cinnamon powder.
  • Mix it well and apply on the scalp and hair thoroughly.
  • Let it sit for about 15 – 20 minutes and then wash it off with mild shampoo followed by water.
  • This process has to be followed 2 – 3 times a week.

Method 2: (Olive Oil with Cumin Seeds)

Ingredients:

  • Olive oil – 1/2 cup
  • Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon

Process:

  • Add cumin seeds to olive oil.
  • Leave it on for about 10 – 15 minutes.
  • Gently massage on bald patches for 5 – 10 minutes.
  • This mixture can be stored, so apply regularly.

Method 3: (Olive Oil Overnight Treatment)

Ingredients:

  • Olive oil
  • Towel or shower cap
  • Shampoo

Process:

  • Take sufficient amount of olive oil and apply this throughout the hair and scalp.
  • Massage your hair before going to bed.
  • Place a shower cap on your hair and a towel on your pillows and leave on overnight.
  • Rinse your hair with shampoo and water the next morning.

2. Lemon Seeds and Peppercorns

Ingredients:

  • Lemon seeds – 7
  • Black peppercorns – 10

  • Crush lemon seeds and peppercorns into a fine powder.

Use unrefined castor oil to get more nutrients and healing properties This oil has viscous consistency, so to make it easier to spread evenly throughout the hair, you have to mix this oil with any carrier or lighter oils like olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, jojoba oil, etc.

  • Add a few drops of castor oil to your daily conditioner.

Method 4: (Castor Oil with Lemon Essential Oil)

Ingredients:

  • Castor oil – 8 tablespoons
  • Lemon essential oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Empty bottle
  • Shower cap
  • Cold water
  • Mild shampoo

Process:

  • Pour castor oil and lemon essential oil in a bottle and shake to mix.
  • Pour few drops of this oil into your hands and apply to the scalp.
  • Massage it gently for 2 – 4 minutes.
  • Let it sit for about 15 – 20 minutes or overnight, wearing a shower cap.
  • Wash your hair with cold water followed by mild shampoo

5. Aloe Vera

  • Aloe vera
  • Lukewarm water

  • Squeeze the gel from an aloe vera leaf.

  3. Take a cloth or sieve to filter the liquid and to remove all the solids.

Ingredients:

  • Onions
  • Honey

Process:

  • Mix onion juice and organic honey.

  • Mix 2 parts of coconut oil and 1 part of lemon juice.

  • You can also use either almond oil or olive oil in the place of lemon juice.

  • Hibiscus flowers
  • Curry leaves
  • Coconut oil
  • Indian gooseberry (amla)

  • Put all ingredients in a pan and boil for a few minutes.

  • Pour amla pulp and lemon juice into a bowl.
  • Mix well and apply this on bald patches.
  • Massage it gently for few minutes and wrap in a shower cap.
  • Leave overnight then wash with shampoo and water.
  • Regularly follow this process.

Method 2:

Ingredients:

  • Gooseberries
  • Coconut oil
  • Saucepan

Process:

  • Cut a gooseberry into pieces.
  • Dry these pieces in the shade.
  • Heat coconut oil in a sause pan.
  • Now add dried gooseberries and boil till the hard part of the berry turns to dark.
  • Boil for a short while before turning off the heat.
  • Allow it to cool then take the amla pieces from this warm oil.
  • Apply oil on scalp and massage gently from the roots to the tip.
  • Repeat this process as needed.

Method 3:

Ingredients:

  • Gooseberry powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Honey – 1 teaspoon
  • Yogurt – 2 teaspoons
  • Pan

Process:

  • Boil the water, then add Indian gooseberry powder and stir well.
  • Add honey and yogurt and mix.
  • Apply this paste on the hair roots and strands.
  • let it sit for about 30 – 45 minutes
  • Wash it with water and repeat this for 2 – 3 times a week.
  • Alternatively, soak the dried gooseberry in water overnight and rinse your strands with this water in the morning.

10. Red Gram and Pigeon Pea

Pigeon pea has a strengthening property that treats the baldness effectively. Red gram is used as common ingredients in many hair care and growth formulae.

Ingredients:

  • Red gram
  • Pigeon pea
  • Shampoo

Method:

  • Mix equal amounts of red gram and pigeon pea.
  • Grind this to make a thin paste.
