Method 1:
- Mix 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar into a glass of water.
- Add a teaspoon of raw honey.
- Drink once a day.
Method 2:
Honey is anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial, and it helps apple cider vinegar to detoxify the body.
- Mix 2 tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar with the juice of one fresh lemon and one teaspoon of honey.
- Add 12 oz of water and drink throughout the day regularly.
2. Apple Cider Vinegar and Water
- In a bowl, mix one part water and one part apple cider vinegar (for sensitive skin use a ratio of 3:1).
- Use a cotton ball or paper towel to apply the mixture to skin.
- If you do this before bed, leave it on overnight.
- If you do it during the day, leave it on a few minutes, then wash your face and apply oil free moisturizer.
- Repeat regularly to clear and prevent acne.
Note: You can also add green tea, aloe vera gel or witch hazel in this mixture.
Or apply pure, organic apple vinegar on pimples with a cotton ball and let it sit for 3 – 5 minutes before washing off. But it causes stinging or burning sensation if you have sensitive skin.
3. Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda

- Mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda.
- Use fingers to apply the mixture as a mask.
- Leave on 10-20 minutes or until skin becomes dry and tight.
- Rinse with cool water, pat dry, and apply moisturizer.
- Repeat once weekly.
4. Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey
- Wash your face with lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser, massaging in circles to clear pores and increase circulation.
- Exfoliate with baking soda.
- Steam your face for three minutes by putting a towel over your head and leaning over a pot of hot water.
- Apply 2 tablespoons raw honey to your face, rubbing gently in small circles. Stop when the honey becomes sticky enough to pull on the skin.
- Leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.

- Apple cider vinegar has a strong scent, so make sure you wash it off completely.
- Apple cider vinegar stings when applied over open wounds or too near to the eyes.
- Always apply sunscreen when going outside.
- Do a patch test first to prevent any irritation.
- Apple vinegar increases the skin’s sensitivity to sun rays. So be sure to apply sunscreen lotion.
- Do not use around the eye area as it causes damage to the eyes. Wash off if any gets in the eyes.
