1. Honey

  • Slather a layer of honey on your lips.
  • Leave it overnight or several times a day.

  • Combine honey and glycerin.

Lip Balm Recipe 1:

  • Using a double boiler, melt 1 tablespoon grated beeswax.
  • Once it melts, add 5 white chocolate chips and stir well.
  • Once it melts, remove from the flame.
  • To the heated mixture, add 1 tablespoon Shea butter, 1 teaspoon each of honey, almond oil, and olive oil and 3 drops of vanilla extract.
  • Stir well and pour into a lip balm container.
  • Refrigerate to solidify the mixture.
  • Apply a small amount of the lip balm on the lips.
  • Repeat as required.

  • Using a double boiler, melt beeswax.
  • Once melt, remove from the flame.
  • Now add almond oil and honey.

  • Combine manuka honey, olive oil, and sugar.
  • Pour the mixture into an air-tight container.
  • Refrigerate to solidify.

  • Using a double boiler, melt 1 teaspoon of beeswax pellets and 4 teaspoons coconut oil.
  • Once melted, remove from the flame.
  • Now mix, 1/2 teaspoon each of zinc oxide powder, raspberry powder, and honey.
  • Pour the mixture into a lip balm container. Let it sit aside to solidify.
  • Use daily as required.

DIY Lip Gloss Using Honey

  • Combine 10 fresh cranberries, 1 tablespoon sweet almond oil and 1 drop vitamin E oil.
  • Microwave mixture for 2 – 3 minutes.
  • Remove from the microwave and crush the berries gently.
  • Let the mixture cool down and strain through a sieve.
  • Add 1 teaspoon honey and stir well.
  • Transfer the mixture into a container.
  • Apply to lips daily or as required.
